Offcuts!
The previous 4 generations of my father's family were miners, and they all collected specimen quality rocks - which I now have, together with some that I collected in my couple of years working on a minesite. At one stage I sat down with a Dana's and catalogued a lot of them, but over the years the labels have faded and now I'm back to square one.
Think I'll just build a cabinet to display a few of the best.
Guns mostly and a lot of rubbish I'll never use.
Alimony, bills and a bad reputation
Offcuts, and junk.
Spent many years trying to graft them together!:p
Cheeers!
Street Machine, every one since Van Wheels!
Yes I need some new book shelfs.
Machinery and tools that I use once and will probably never use again!.. pocket hole jig, dove tail jig, GMC ROS, el cheapo biscuit joiner....
Whoa Harry  Van Wheels crikey!! I actually have some of them somewhere as well, and old issues of "turbo" and "streetbike" although did relinquish & give most of my old street machines to one of my car mad mates who never grew up, he went ape when he came across boxes and boxes of them. The good thing about that is he will look after them and I get to visit them every now & then.Quote:

Nothing in the sense you mean. I have a lot of accumulated junk but it's more along the lines of not throwing things away - I haven't gone out and 'collected' it. I have a growing collection of hand tools and I will always take any timber that comes my way.
Collected stamps and coins as a kid.
Welcome to the club mate, but it's advisable to unload the old ones before adding a new one. :DQuote:

I thought collecting wood was a foregone conclusion for nearly everyone on the forum - or is that just me I'm talking about:D

Old metters ovens and wood burning stoves. Had to stop recently, the obsession was getting out of control! I restore them and use them for things like a TV/video stand, somewhere to put my fax machine and printer etc.
Also been collecting Singer sewing machines of late too...
Cheers

Trouble is that the first collection starts looking good, then the second collection gets bigger and at the same time the first gets smaller.
A see-saw really.
I'd like to collect both at the same time, thats the trick I'm yet to work out.
