I have to go to Melbourne for a few days for work, and I want to try and get out to your Carbatec store in Richmond while I'm there.
Other than the CBD, I don't know Melbourne at all and I'm wondering if it's easy to get to Richmond by public transport from where I'm staying. Which is a hotel opposite Albert Park.
So here's a chance for you Mexicans to tell me where to go :D

Carba-Tech is not too hard to get to from the city.
You will need to catch the tram in Flinders St ( I think it is No 70 to Wattle Park) that goes down between the MCG and Tennis Centre and along Swan St Richmond past Carba-Tech which will be 2 or 3 stops past Chapel St. If you get to Burnley St you have gone too far. Look out for a "Home" hardware store which will be on your left directly opposite Carba-Tech.

Prezactly.
Actually from Queens rd there are a few ways to get there including walking to punt rd across Fawkener Park, getting trams up toorak rd etc. The best idea is to get the reception at the hotel to direct you to the address. The way detailed above is the most fool proof.
Actually the best idea is to get your company to give you a cab-charge :)
Don't forget to pack a jumper, raincoat, windbreaker, shorts, sunscreen, sunglasses, t-shirt and thermal underwear. (for the first day) :) :)

Unless you want a fairly long walk, then you will need to get into the CBD first, Melbourne only really supports travel in and out of the CBD. Get a tram into the city from St Kilda Rd (parallel to Queen's Road)
Once you're in the CBD, get a 70 Tram (as said before) or get a train to Burnley Station

Just to add confusion,
You can get a tram (72) up Commercial Rd, to Chapel St. Then tram (78 or 79) up Chapel St (becomes Church St) to Swan St, about half a block west of Carbatec. Into town is probably more straight forward.

PS. After a while you get used to the cold, so much so I moved to Romsey. It snows here every now and again. Miss the white sand beach and the waves of Trigg.

Sorry, 4.7km is a bit much of a walk to sneek in I guess. However, 4.7km should not cost much in a cab me thinks.
Could be an hours ride in Melbourne. :D
