"talk amongst yourselves; I'll be back"
Well, didn't you all do well.:2tsup:
Pac man that was a superhuman effort. There were at least three that on any day of the week would have been clear winners.
As said, Arnie had to be in there somewhere. I loved the Harold Holt reference for it's irony and the egg under attack was genius. I put myself right there for a moment:-. Let's move on.
However I'm truly sorry Pac man as this week wasn't the week because labr@'s effort was off the planet. (We are allowing interterrestial entries I hear). So simple, so prophetic and some would say so real: In fact just plain bloody apt. This is coming from someone who is irreverent on his tolerant days and sacreligious for the other 364 days a year.
Labr@ take it away sir.

Paul

I'll say this right up front before someone else gets in first: Yes I have too much time on my hands today. I was in the middle of sanding back the weatherboards on the house when the backing disc on my angle grinder broke up. End of job, temporarily at least, as the local hardware store doesn't have them and I ordered the one I've got (or rather did have) through the net.
More on order, but may not be here until next week. Ordinarily SWMBO would just move to the next job on the list, but she is away:) at a retreat. Not a euphemism for drying out or re-balancing she just..er..retreated:wink:.
I may have to have a little drink later to fire up some inspiration, but in the meantime here's a "little" contribution. I have narrowed scope of the winner down a little. More to come ..

Paul
Yes I did have quite a bit of fun with this. Some of the tea ladies were extremely strong contenders, but for the life of me I couldn't see the connection. There was precious little to do with tea and the title lady may have been generous. I really don't think the decorum of afternoon tea had ever entered their heads.
There was one particular person........ I digress. here is the remainder of the offering. Jus a couple of comments: I think Penelope Keith is there, Lady Gaga definitely is, although I think her name could be either an oxymoron, onomatopoeic or a spoof. I don't know too much about her, but I can guess.
The lady in red (I love the song) is apparantly wearing a tea-length dress, which I have never heard of before and you can have her (metaphorically) in black if you prefer. If you can have a tea-length dress and an evening dress I wonder if you can get a midnight snack dress and what form would it take?

If like tea lady you are confused don't become alarmed. I had misunderstood the drift of Labr@'s post and I was steering it towards the winning tea lady as a tribute, if you like, to the founder of the thread. So please disregard my posts 247/248 as an entry. If you find the pictures amusing please feel free to have a giggle and if not...well....disregard them.
Like I said, I had too much time on my hands, but didn't take enough care in reading the post.:(. It's the same carelessness I display when I look in the fridge for the butter:).
Regards and keep the pix coming.

Too obvious , pity you don't have a picture of the one that 'got away' & ran out of the shed & across the road.
