It's been a little quite here
Is Brett spitting and polishing everything in preparation.
We're all set to go
See ya all soon
Matt, You just wait until you see MR CLEAN's pristine shed, everything with a home, very much spick and span....
Some have been known to do inspections looking for actual "sawdust" and when now is to be found, making some and planting it in prominent places.....
See you Sunday sport, cheers Peter
Well the funniest thing is that the Shop Vac has been in the house for a week, and I've had to do a few dockings on the mitre saw. However, there will be nil evidence of this by Sunday.
No need, plenty of these on hand:

And with comments like....:
....I certainly hope you know the receiving stance (ask Billy Connolly). Anyone over 50 is well familiar with it.
So today I did the food shopping and managed to BBQ the chicken, curry the fish and stir fry the veges. That means I'm at least a day ahead of schedule, so plenty of time to clean up that sawdust.
And now I'm hungry. I did sample the chicken fresh of the plate, and was quite satisfied.
Lola is going to make a Ricotta cake or two tomorrow, salad prep on Saturday, and I might even make a batch of Pannacottas again.
Cintia is bringing a Piononno (Italian dessert) which means Pius IX (Pope, who was previously Cardinal Pacelli). I have previously had this, and highly recommend it.
I wouldn't normally mention this, but because of its size (and therefore transport planning), there will be a clothes dryer up for sale at a very good price. Not THE best price, but close.
It would be really useful to have a couple of extra microwave ovens on Sunday. Anyone got one that's easily removed from their kitchen that they could bring up?
Hope he's going to give us the address. or there's going to be a lot of confused people driving all over Katoomba on Sunday morning.
If we all do find our way there, I hope he's got name tags for us as I'm one of those people that forget your name about 2 seconds after you tell me.
Blue masking tape name tags are a standard.
If anyone needs the address then send me a PM.
All this talk of culinary delights, hermetically sealed environments and high end sale items has got me thinking that maybe there is a dress code too. What would be acceptable. I went looking.
Perhaps Wollybugger will arrive like this:

Then I spotted this Garrat Wade tool for Simplicity:

Then this for FenceFurniture:

but not too much on dress sense although it may be that we are doing it all wrong if this picture is to be believed:

See you all on Sunday.

Hi Brett
We r staying at the Blue Mountains Heritage Motel
Brett could you please pm me your address ?
Cheers Matt and Sally
Unfortunately I don't think I am going to be able to make it, I woke up this morning with a cold and feeling pretty crook. Do I need a doctor's certificate?
Brett,
Sorry I have to pull out at short notice but a family issue needs my attention.
Regards
John

Lemon Ricotta Cakes (Lola) cooked and cooling, and looking good. Sue is bringing a Sticky Date Pudding, so we got some Scream.
Shed nearly tidy again, semi dusted down (or maybe up?), and there may be a prize for the person who can present me with a teaspoon of dust from within the shed and without opening up machines or unscrewing wall boards etc.
Tarp is up, tables are out, chez in place.
Looks like tomorrow will be a bit of a bludge.
Looks like the Simplicity itinerary has created a precedent: A travelogue leading up to the GTG. Oh well, here is my bit all loaded up but not yet tied down and nearly ready for the first leg.
The buckets do take up a bit of space and they are not all there yet. I have to call in to work on the way through and pick up the last thirteen. It looks as though it is all good Christos and you should have your ten too.
A few more bits to put on yet and a bag of clothes and I am all done. Luckily SWMBO has other commitments and is unable to attend. This is just as well as I don't know if her endurance is up to hanging onto the tray for 600Km.

This will be my last communication before seeing you all on Sunday as my level of technology is not up to that of Simplicity. In fact, my mobile is SWMBO's mobile, which she is lending me for the trip. I suspect it has a tracking device

Paul

Rightio, all done, just waiting for bodies.
All the prime sales positions are occupied! :D
