You're too kind, thank you :B.

Well Bret I am stunned Pat didn't mention its his birthday today that alone would have meant cake.
None of you blokes have mention anything you scored, bought or swapped although I see in photo's tools in hand and Pat and Paul deep in discussion over a box?
No sign of wood pile.
No sign of anything fellows had made
Oh hang on Fletty did have an empty bottle of red in hand didn't he.
Jeez, did you only buy stuff from me? You can definitely come again. Adam can come again too - it's not often (may never have happened) that he leaves here without some tools (paid for or not, mine or not). He doesn't come around nearly often enough though:D.
The number 6 rasp is a 9.
Btw, did you see that large grey bin that had the wire racks in it? It has a similar lip at the back, and I reckon you could hang that off the second bottom row of the wall plate for rags, rubbish, or whatever.
I'm a true blue, maroon blooded Queenslander who just happened to met a top girl whilst I was stationed in Sydney, married her and mosted to the Lower Blue Mountains were we could afford a house back in late 1979/1980......
Still I'd love to show off my handiwork to you Brett next time you're down this way; I'll even offer a drive back home up the hill.......
Cheers, crowie
PS - Now I'm really in for some stick.......
I thought they were great too Crowie.
There was much treasure to choose from on Sunday. Pat brought about half his shed along, Brett had a massive clean out and Pac Man produced a huge box of give aways.
I got a large leather chisel roll off Pat as well as a saw vice (which I forgot to pick up and Pat had to wrestle Ozhunter to rescue it for me :D Thanks Pat )
I also got some holt melt glue and a Rabone folding wooden rule (for miniarcher) from Brett and a freebie systainer which I haven't decided what I will use it for yet.
I'm still debating whether I need Adam's cutting gauge. I reckon he left it at Brett's just to tempt me. (Don't tell him but his plan is working:doh:) Although I'll need a discount now that the box got wet :;
My apologies go to you NCA. I get really distracted and cant finish sentences when a garage sale fresh 604 1/2 Bedrock with a berg blade gets pulled out with in a 2m radius.
No joy at Springwood in case you were wondering
Ha, I knew it. :U
It wasn't even in his line of sight. We were sitting and chatting when he suddenly stopped. Lifted his face and sniffed the air. "Someone's got a Bedrock" he says. "And I can't be certain but I think I caught a whiff of Berg"
It was a bit scary to be honest. :D
:U Thanks guys now that put a fine finish on a dull day for me. As Fletty's sig says " if you can't see the bright side, polish the dull side" I have just buffed it to a glowing shine thank's to you all.:2tsup::2tsup::2tsup:
Bugger. In the rush to get out of the rain I forgot about my glue sticks and the 2 magazines I purloined.:-
???
Did anybody actually remember to take anything home :? :D .
Really good to hear of a group of partial strangers and acquaintances with common ground hitting it off together. Wish I'd been there. :)
Regards
Paul
I remembered to take Woodnut home :U He did have to run along side for a while till I noticed him. Lucky he's fit.
Sounds like senior moments were had by all.
:D

By the way, what was the attraction to the rather popular glue sticks? They were clearly the right price:U because by around 11.30 I had to go and claim my own 10, but there seemed to be something else?
Was it the length, which I don't think is available in general hardwares stores?
Were all the purchasers turners, or specifically pen turners?
I bought 10 because I didn't have change for the Rabone rule :D I'm sure they will come in handy.
Yeah, they will, hence why I kept some. You don't necessarily need a hot gun though (although generally the best way).
That rule was a nice thing eh? Love the level in it, and it was in great Nick (which is why it was cheap:D). I'd fogotten that it was a Rabone (or didn't know).
what do you do if you don't have a wall to hang your booty on.......
Attachment 254171
........make a new wall!
Attachment 254172
at least I remembered to take them home!
fletty
Fletty, it looks like you may have a plate leftover? Do you want the grey bin I was talking about earlier (see post #206 )?
:U With all this stuff left behind its almost enough blokes returning to get it you could hold another GtG just to Get it Together.
Went to test this freezer a couple of days ago, and it doesn't work (motor runs, but doesn't get cold, and gurgles more than I did after all those snarlers:B)
So, I reckon it would make pretty good storage for tools, waxes, etc as it would keep the humidity and dust out as well as having some insulation in a hot shed. Mind you, it may be able to be fairly easily fixed so that it actually works as a freezer (which it did a very good at).
Dimensions about 1500 x 500 x 500, bottom drawer is short depth to allow for the motor.
If anyone wants it before I put it out for thesca"recyclers" then let me know asap.

Bret did you forget photo's ?
Brett
With that firewood included I don't think you'll have any trouble finding takers .
