"Perception is reality"
I wondered where this one would go. You all came up with some beauties. TL followed the saturation technique, but having said that they were all good. I would have gone with the bridge effect, but I didn't really understnd that one , plus if I did it might have reflected adversely on my state of mind (but it was veeeery close:)). I went cross eyed over the other entries but really like those too.
Do any of you remember those abstract design pictures that had hidden pictures within them? You know, dolphins, horses fish etc. I can't remember what they were called, but you had to stare at them for a while before you could see the real pictures. A little alcohol helped enormously.
Lastly, with the impossible pictures the MC Escher "Waterfall." is an old favourite and I think it was a woodcut too.
Anne-Maria. Take it away.

Paul

"why me?"
So.......... Does that make it today?
Seeing as how you are the originator of this thread it seems only fitting that we should acknowledge the day. According to SWMBO, women are like fine wines and they improve with age. Who am I to argue with such as definitive statement as that. Besides, I happen to agree:rolleyes:.
Just for a little bit of nostalgia and to put things into perspective, here is one list (pommie) of the top ten songs on the hit parade and a link to The King, who just happened to be No.1!
Return to Sender His Royal Highness
The Next Time Cliff Richard and the Shadows
Lovesick Blues Frank Ifield
Sun Arise Rolf harris
Bobby's Girl Susan Maughn
Dance with the Guitar Man Duane Eddy
Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree Brenda Lee
Swiss Maid Del Shannon
Telstar The Tornados
Devil Woman Marty Robbins
Two Aussie artists in the top ten as well. Not bad going for the antipodeans!

Oh yes and while I'm about it TL's got the nod for "Why me?" with her tipper truck.
Sorry, the rest of you were too slow and this one was rigged so it wouldn't have done you any good:D.
Ozkaban, any other time you would have got the nod for unabashed grovelling and Undie, you were an easy third:rolleyes:.
Regards
Paul
OK! How about -
getting better with age!
(BTW were those songs from 49 years ago? Wasn't really aware of music until my teens and was tortured by Mum listening to "easy listening" . I liked '80s punk! ::cool: And Pink Floyd, and weird stuff. )
Getting better with age.
