Giant banner adverts in the middle of posts.

I am seeing the adds, this thread is full of them. Using Chrome on my iPad.

Are you sure they aren’t screenshots people are posting?

I’m using an iPad and since Neil turned the adverts off, I’m only seeing the normal side adverts.

Definitely adds, not screen shots. A number of them in ubeuts posts.

Really odd.
This thread on my phone no adds other the screen dumps by others.
But over on the MWF with phone i still see the adds...

Not on pc at MWF...havent tried pc here on WWF

Using Google Chrome on Windows 10 and no add blockers.

Went in on my iPhone not being logged in - adverts everywhere as Neil said there would be.
Signed in and only side adverts

I still have the ads on my iPhone, not W10 PC.

I have not experienced any ads appearing throughout posts - all has worked perfectly for me.
i’m using an iPad, iOS13.2.2 and Safari.

Another bit of information-

Using iPhone Safari IOS 13 and changing "Style" to "Default vB" eliminates the ads in posts. They are there with any other style.

All ads went sometime this arvo; currently I’m on my I-pad using Chrome and viewing everything in “desktop” mode (my normal method). Even the large banner advert at the top of each thread has gone although I expect it will return.

I don’t run adblockers; I simply avoid websites that insist on filling 80% of the screen with junk, like MSN feeds or whatever.

The info links ads as per link only show at bottom of forum page as links and also as a popup but only if you are not logged in.

Correct. I was referring to the banner type ads inside of posts when I am logged in. Those appear with any style type other than "vB Default".

That was the answer for me, changed to default vb and adds gone.

Havent changed a thing...Mobile S8 on MWF all good now...all good so whatever they did they fixed it

all I gotta do now is figure out why some pages load fully and then on another day they only load half?,
on pc that is...happend here on this page but happens more often over on MWF as that is where I lurk.

reload generally fixes the it and its intermittent
