SE-QLD Forum GTG BBQ - First Weekend in July

Gday Phil & Leanne,

Thanks again for the tour of your toyshop & your generous hospitality, once again I apologise for being late. Cheryl & I really enjoyed ourselves. It was great to meet some of the other forumites, put faces to names & see some of their great work in the flesh.

When I got home I realised that I had the only camera there and hadn't taken any informative photos. Very slack of me.

Its ok we can see from whats written above and photo's no sings of sawdust on hands or cloths and statement

On the contrary, Ray. Now if Wendy (Ruffly Rustic) had been able to attend there would have been a comprehensive report. However you are in the hands of this old f***.
We didn't just eat and tell lies. We also had a good look at Phil's workshop, saw lots of WIP and his gallery of finished toys. He showed us a simple way to make wooden-spoked wheels and we had a long discussion and threw about ideas for making wire-spoked ones.

See Brian you old Frts can do a report with out being good looking like RR :U I will admit Wendy's would have lots more oooohhhs and ahhhh's in the report though :;

what is even funnier, is that I reckon I could write the report without having been there!! :D and it would have been over 90% accurate except for the converstion topics...:rolleyes::q:;:U:D
