`I just got it too, didn't earlier today.
Yes Fred, you can keep reporting the site as safe, but it must be a concern to Admin that the site has come up again as unsafe.
Found this while googling the problem.
GJ, I showed how to bypass the red screen, I did not imply that Admin was not concerned about this state of affairs.
A few posts back I advised that Steven has been notified and he is working on it, as he did last time this happened.
Edit:
Have just had a report that Photo Forums is now also affected by this.
Yes Photo Forums seems to work OK with Firefox for me too, report was from a user with Chrome.
Metal forum is fine and yes I had it again this morning. Its obviously a concern for such a warning it may not be forum server based it may be its being used though through other channels much like a hacker bounces from server to server THAT is a major concern.
Still has the warning up.
Regards
John
Oh joy the red screen is back....... It's like my attacks of gout.....it comes during times of revelry, it comes as a surprise, but not unexpectedly, it is painful, it is frustrating, and it goes away with time....
To all the members have a happy New Year and a successful 2017.:D
Haven't had issues with WWF, and don't use Photo forum, but Win 7/Opera has been turning up Opera's red screen for at least a fortnight with Metalwork Forums. I normally work through WWF to Market Place/Auctions then MWF via the link at the top of the Auctions page, which triggers the red screen the first time MWF is opened in an Opera session. If I repeat this process without closing the Opera session, there is no red screen, if I close and reopen Opera, it's back first time I open MWF. My issue was reported to MWF the second time it occurred, and a screen shot included, and I have commented a couple of times that it is still occuring. I was surprised to find that some threads over there reporting similar issues had been closed after 2 or 3 posts.
Seems to be fixed again
Hi,
Not for me, nothing has changed since my first post on 24/12/2016. I am using Firefox.

Aaaaaand back down again
Nuh, still happening for me.
And me.
It certainly wouldn't harm if everything served were https when chosen and remained so. The htaccess flips back and forth serving up stuff willy nilly.
Sorry to go on but I am really getting tired of this i reply to a post then hit post reply and get the red page and wonder if it is worth doing the reply over again I hope this doesn't put new members off the site.
Regards Rod.
Before you post the reply copy the contents of the post to your clipboard so that you can paste it back the next time if anything goes wrong. It should not be necessary but I do that with every post I make on every forum I participate in whether it is having big problems or not. It only takes a couple of seconds and only has to save you once a year to be more than worth it.
Cheers
Doug
My browser updated saying that it added some new security features, seems it did something as I too get the red screen, posting is no issue though.
Got the red screen too
Interestingly, I don't get it on the tablet, I use Firefox on both, hmmmmm
I have no doubt that it will be solved eventually.
Is this happening because of someone's malicious actions, or just a dumb system glitch somewhere?
Perhaps its caused by some rogue advertising link?
I'm getting the red screen as well
Win 10
Chrome Version 55.0.2883.87 m
Hi, been really struggling to get into these forums of late as both safari and google chrome won't let me in, a bright red red page comes up saying that "This site is a dangerous phishing site that will try and trick you into giving them important personal details including credit card details" It's driving me nuts, sometimes I can get in but usually I get blocked after a few clicks. I'm using Chrome to write this, but am expecting to be blocked as soon as I post. Can anyone give me any ideas as to why this is happening?
Yes, I'm getting it constantly now, I use Safari and am unable to get in even when I click "Ignore" It seems Chrome works on "Ignore" so far at least any ways. I've sent several reports to no avail.
I think the might be a couple of threads about this. I udder tapatalk on my phone so no issue and even using the phone browser had been fine

Turning Wood Into Art
I too am facing this issue in Chrome but no one can stop you from visiting just click on detail and visit site. Neil is overseas so he can't look into it and probably wouldn't anyway, this comes and goes it probably google trying to get a few extra bucks.
Thanks guys, its been fixed again with a few extra measures in place. I've submitted the site for review and last time it took about 24hrs to be processed.
kind regards
steve
Steve I had a link emailed to me yesterday it was one to a thread I had posted in that came up with the warning, however when I deleted down to www.woodworkforums.com I gained access no problem.
This could mean that they will have to remove each and every block on every subscription obviously they are not removing it as a blanket to cover all the subscriptions many of us have.
The link (

Just got the red warning page when trying to visit the home and African walnut slabs. This was on mozilla firefox
I still see the "Red Screen Of Death." I click on details and come into the site.
I get the Red warning screen on both Chrome and Firefox but not on Edge or my phone.
Just looked at this section MEMBERS' BUSINESSES & SERVICES
Clicked on the latest thread.

That hacker defaced page is on Ayao's website. not this one.
As above, they seem to have targeted a few Aussie sites though.
I know some people like swapping banner ads out for their affiliate links, they look the same but the site no longer gets comission and it often goes unnoticed until the earnings are way down, wonder if that has happened?
Yeah, Ayao's website has been hacked.
I have deleted the link to Ayoa's hacked website from his thread in Announcements.
Hi guys
About half an hour ago I got an email from Google stating the warning has been removed. This should filter out to search results and other software that use them over the next few hours.
kind regards
steve

While I'm sure the problem wasn't at the WWF end, it would be interesting to know what hoops Steven had to jump through to get the problem rectified.
Gone :2tsup::2tsup:
Thanks to all.
