Thought I'd give my 2 cents in here and up those who pander to political correctness.
The two funniest shows of all time have to be:
• Kingswood Country; and
• Love Thy Neighbour.
They're from a time when comedy wasn't the rubbish we get from the Yanks, but real funny local Aussie made gems and the stuff from England. And as others have posted, Black Books, Black Adder and Mr. Bean and Married with Children.

How could you not inclue The Goodies! Ecky Thump, the big cat, the dinosaurs episode, kidnapping Rolf Harris - ahh those were the days! :D
I got my 9 year old son interested in that too.
"Only fools and horses" by a country mile,gets my vote...............Al
