11:27 and lightening fast for me right now.
Was a little slow late last night but lightening fast in the wee small hours around 1:30am
This morning was like cranking up an old vintage car it might start it might not. Better response just now but opening threads and loading pics was retarded and sparking out of order :roll:
No problems for me since the fix on Monday

Its like driving in Melbourne, Sydney at peak hour almost grinding to a halt. BUT it might have been fitted with a VS switch and someone forgot to switch to full speed.

Next to useless here since lunch time. I often get some unformated list looking thing if and when it loads. I tried earlier to attach a screen shot but after 20min gave up.
All fixed AGAIN.....
Off the air for some time whilst they rebooted the server and stuffed it up and had to get a higher authority to do it.

Think someone may have brushed the button. Took 15 minutes to upload 3 photos this morning. Each time I go in it says empty server or words to that affect and then connects to the Forum. :2tsup: Looks like someone did a full service greased the wheel bearings, changed the oil, removed the nut behind the wheel :;
Problem appears to be still ongoing at the other end and may see the forums migrated to another Hypervisor (HV) or zone on the network if a satisfactory resolution cannot be found.
At least we are running at a much better clip right now, getting close to optimum speed but not there yet.

Seems to come and go, weird. Last night no probs, this morning crap
Forums are currently being backed up in preparation of a moved to a stable and hopefully faster section of the server.
This will probably cause heaps of problems throughout the day and possibly into the night and maybe even into tomorrow.
It will also mean an IP change so there will need to be a lot of backroom work done tonight and tomorrow to bring everything back online properly.
Again I ask all to bear with us whilst this is done. Most of it is out of our control at least initially so we are in the lap of the server Gods for the moment.

They are still backing up and it looks like our whole server is now to be migrated to a new location on the network under a different Hypervisor, rather than just the forums.
I will try to keep everyone advised as to progress in the Announcement at the top of each page.
All things being equal we should be running at almost blistering speeds once all this is sorted out.
We may be off the air for some time or it might just happen without a single problem but knowing my luck..... Hang on for a bumpy ride.

Sorry folks but it ain't fixed yet. The worst is still to come.
Today's slowness was only the backup of the server. It will probably all come to a screaming halt later on if and when they migrate the server to the new section.
Still a lot of work to be done by Steven in the back room after that happens.

FORUM & SERVER TRANSFER SHOULD BEGIN SHORTLY!
We could go off line at any time now and may be off line for a number of hours even overnight.
When we come back all should be lightening fast.
We will have a new IP address and it may take a few days for some members DNS to get updated by their service provider.
