Bigamy is having one wife too many.
Monogamy is the same thing.
Whats the penalty for bigamy??
Two mother in laws??
Far be it from me to interrupt a promising-looking thread hijack  .... but... this is quite an interesting subject.
What is the difference between collecting and simply amassing things? I wouldn't define myself as a collector but I do have large numbers of books, CDs and DVDs and a burgeoning assortment of woodworking tools.
So why don't I think I'm a collector?
Because I haven't amassed any of these things with the specific objective of collecting them. I've got loads of books because I enjoy reading and I like owning books. However, together they don't constitute a collection - my taste in literature is way too eclectic for that. Similarly, my - relatively modest - numbers of CDs and DVDs (and some old vinyl records and boxes of cassette tapes) were not acquired with any intention of building a collection but simply to enjoy music and movies.
That, I think, means that I'm not a collector - doesn't it?
Coins
Notes
Casino chips ( smallest value that is )
Books
Reference material on almost any subject ( espically History )
Tools
Golf Balls ( try to get one from each course and then build the cabinets to hold them )
Grandsons drawings ( have a couple of fridges covered with them )
