THe problem with most Deck Oils is that they were developed in Europe or USA for their local conditions and timbers. Not good old Aussie conditions with heaps of heat & sunshine plus Aussie Hardwoods that Oxidise. Check out Aussie clear Decking oils. Developed for Aussie conditions and timbers. Last heaps better than your feast Watson, Sikkens, etc.

Go Aussie Clear Oil made in Aust. for Aussie conditions and timbers. My local Mitre 10 bloke gets it from DRIVE Marine Services in Sydney as it is heaps better than what they stock and about 2/3rds the price. Brilliant stuff.

Ive used Mirrortone products, primarily a sanding sealer, great stuff. Probably find it on google.

Hi all...
Haymes make a sanding sealer, and can be bought at (or ordered through) most "Paint Place"s. It's a sanding sealer, not a grain filler...so a grain filler can be purchased separately.
The "Paint Place"s near me also stock shellac flakes, so no shelf life issues.
