Peter, try CTRL-F5 and see if that helps
That fixed it. Thanks
I found that things ran much faster last night that they have since the December changeover, and I would suspect probably a fair way faster than for the previous 6 months or so.
Many thanks to Neil, Pauline, Steven and all the rest in the boiler room for making this happen. God knows what it has cost materially to get onto a viable server, but the results are certainly showing. I know Ubeaut has rejected offers of subscription scheme funding in the past because he wants to be the Benevolent Dictator, but maybe it's time for some of us to start offering to pitch in to relieve some of the burden.
Thanks again to all involved.
Mal
I am having problems, I have tried the CTRL-F5 a number of times to no avail.
The screen is so spread out that I have to move it 3 times to read a post.
I am seeing that icon same as Peter36, all over the place.

Depending on the browser it may be CTRL-F5 or SHIFT-F5. You may also have to clear your cache. In Google Chrome it is spanner, Tools, clear browsing data
It is possible to make the screen view larger and smaller in windows, pretty sure ti works in all browsers.
Try these and see what happens. It will be a setting at your end as there is nothing that I can think of at this end that will do this other thab someone posts a massively over-sized picture.
CTRL + (makes screen bigger)
CTRL - (makes screen smaller)
CTRL 0 (standard size screen)
Hope this is of some help.
Cheers - Neil :U
Thanks for the help, the clear of browsing data worked.
Making the screen view larger and smaller is a great tip.

Getting "ooops Internet explorer could not find Woodwork forums etc"
Have been trying to see what is in the library section and all it comes up with is "no threads in the last 30 days" even when the date range is changed still shows the no thread, will try a different computer tommorow when I have access to one but.
Curiously I posted to a new woodie, welcoming to the site and I have been getting welcoming replies.
I am sure in the past I used to have my web page listed in the members list but looking today its not there.
Will this listing become available.
(I cannot remember my own webpage url and I was hoping to find it the above way?:D )
The details are still there if you look at your profile. But to help you here it is. " http://homepages.tesco.net/john.jt " :D
Peter.
Thanks Peter, I left that server 4 years ago and somehow I am going to have to transfer over to my new server virginmedia.
Please pm me how?
Hi Neil and co. I clicked on the link to claw hamma's blackwood table WIP from my home email account (about 9:00 pm) and it took a loooong time to load, I closed it and clicked again (sometimes helps:?) I left it "waiting" and went and watched Grand Designs....in that time it had loaded, I also tried the woodwork forum main page from my favourites but that was also slow. I tried a few other fav websites for comparison, no probs. Apart from that it hasn't been to bad.:2tsup:
