I was impressed because they are good photos. Nothing naughty about what my son and his GF are doing at all. <shrug>
Shes the one who wanted copywrite established.

Nothing more Australian then a Bushfire.
Photos are from the Great Alpine and Tatong fires 2006/07
:2tsup:
:D
That pic of Craig's Hut is a beauty dp.
Wongo, are they long neck, racing cats? :?
Here's a picture I took after taking some goldies. I went for a "trip" to the river and there were some kids swimming there.
PS As I have substantially changed this photo can I claim copyright? If so your welcome to use it, if not you better speak to DP's daughter.:D

You bored BT? :? :D
Dadpad,
That second shot is a ripper. Just love the colour.
I was walking with my beloved this evening, and as we travailed the sights of Alex Headland, we came across a day-nighter in progress.
Not much of a photo as these things go, but pretty Australian I thought.
After sunset, the crowd on the hill starting a wave, a wave on the other side of the ground already happening... and a quick clip off her toes for four.
Life doesn't get much better than this!

Not that I intend to flood this thread, but here's another one , this time from half an hour or so earlier in the day.
Now this bloke is a REAL Aussie I reckon (eh Cliff?:; ), except of course for the bit where he's carrying the groceries not his missus, that is a bit poofy I'll admit....
Cheers,
P

OK.OK, I'll go & get my camera... I know I took a photo of something today & it wasn't the bloody comet 'cos there's too much bloody cloud.
Good shot Midge, he is allowed to carry it 'cos it is the dog food for the mongrels. :D
You didn't happen to get a closer shot of the puppies on his wife's shoulders did you?
No, I said it first. :((
You, I, I, I, you, you southerners come up here & well, you, you, you, think you can kick a dead horse when he's down, well, I, I, I, just you, you, you mark my word, I, I, I'll..... what was the question? :?
No, I said it first. :((
OK, Queensland is still part of Australia (lucky for you Mexicans :D )....
Here (taken form my front gate) are the highest & the 2nd highest mountains in Queensland just on sunset.
Who knows their names?
The 2nd pic is a closer shot of the highest one.
Mick & Womble aren't allowed to answer. :p
Cliff,
any prizes for correctly guessing the names of the two highest peaks in Qld?:D (Odd that they're both double barrelled names starting with "B" isn't it?)
Mick
Is your name Mick?
1st prize. You get to make a vanity unit for me. :D
2nd prize. You come over & finish removing the next 374 tiles in the living area...... I am soooo sore. :(
Okay,
peak 1 is called Bubba-gump and 2 is called Balley-hooley. Bugger, did I guess wrong? I guess the prizes will have to go to some other, more deserving soul.:D
Mick
Damn, you got both first guess.... how'd you do that & when do you start? :D
Has this turned into the woodies quiz thread?
Is one of them called Ben Lomand or somethink like that?
And Cliff if I am right you havent seen my cabinet making skills so beware!
MT Bartle Frere and Mt Barney
One right, one wrong.
Broken Nose
Cliff your a real cad, for starting this quiz - I Could really ring your bell, then you cur.
Mt Bartle Frere and Mt Bellenden Ker
Hang on, they're triple barrel names starting with "M"!!! :oo:

DJ wins, Namtrak dropped the hints.
OK More photos required.
DJ,
looks like you won the right to make a new cabinet for Cliff. Just give me a call before you get here and we'll arrange to get you the template
Mick
No worries but I am waiting on Cliff to send me a Return Airfare ticket, when it arrives I will let you know the arrival date
Took these this morning at Newport Beach in NSW. Picture quality is not great because I just used my phone.

And then there is our tiny little corner. :D
Australia Day in Malanda.
1. The Theatre & the flag flying at the ANZAC Memorial.
2. The presentation day at the show ground, the entertainers doing 'The Road to Gundagai' & the original version of 'Waltzing Matilda.' (Check out the dog with the flag vest)
3. The Malanda Falls on the North Johnston River.
The Malanda Theatre Company got the Eacham Shire Australia Day 2007 Cultural Event Award for one of our productions. I did the lighting for it. :2tsup:
I hope to get some more photos later today & tonight. :)
Mirboo I took the family to Berry Reserve at Narrabeen Lake.
Oh the humanity............
Oh the horror................
I am so over those supposed BBQ breakfasts that have become a "tradition"
Bloody politicians manipulating feelings of patriotism through corny community displays.
If I see another teenager wrapped in the flag I'm going to go over to them and disgrace myself.
Aussie Day here has been me working on the deck, and listening to the JJJ Top 100 countdown. And as the photo of the radio indicates, I opened my first Coopers at 4:30 rather than 5:00 given that it is Australia Day and SWMBO and the kids are away for a couple of days.
Am about to head to the pub, may take some more photos after I return :puke: or maybe not
I was going to switch to listening to the cricket but the Poms pathetic performance is just giving me the tom tits. My grandmother was a Pom, maybe she'll get a call up - and she's been dead for 18 years!!!
I figured since it is Australia Day then there ought to be some pics eh?
So here's Boatmik working feverishly on the PDR's while I slept inside, then off he goes for a sail on Gruff, my 12 year old Goat Island Skiff.
Trouble is it's really hard to get pictures of the Goat Island Skiff that make it look as though it's moving because it displaces so little water there's no splash!
Cheers,
P:D :D
