Rock superstar Jon Anderson was presented with a signed football for his birthday during a gig in Birmingham. The Yes singer was celebrating his 62nd birthday. The Wednesfield postman Phil Reade presented the star with a signed football from his favourite team Accrington Stanley to wish him many happy returns.
... and did it make the tabloids over here?

Yes were pretty big in Oz in the early '70's. Most people I knew had at least one of their records (me included). :p
We have the Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe album and it does get played regularly. So while not obscure they are known to some of us.
