Ahhh.. the conversation is starting to get civilised:D.
Vegemite I can take or leave, but Promite...actually chomping down a piece of toast with slathers of it on at the moment.
Anyway.. It's all a bunch of BS according to the Seppos

Was all a beat up, Press conference today denied it was banned in the US.
Trouble is none of the seppos knew what Vegimite was:D :D :D
Did I mention the barstools killed Pharlap?:p
There's a market here for "Folate Depleted Vegemite"
- Gauranteed not to improve your health.
- Suitable for Ingestion during pregnancy without affecting your ability to litigate against Hospital, Pediatrician and allied health professionals.
- Ideally suited as a dare for students during Initiation procedures at College.
We'll keep the real stuff. Though, since its made by Kraft, this wont be in production very long.

Rob
Hey I have the answer...
Rip out all the folate, cos we all now know that it is the route of all evil, and replace it with a liberal helping of sugar and top it off with a copious application of fat and there you have it a PERFECT product for introduction into the worlds biggest consumer market!

Those naughty newspapers, getting us all worked up over nothing again.
Would be interesting to lug a large bag of shellac flakes through US customs and see what they say. Its an FDA approved food product in the US.
