Riverland,
I just gave you a greenie, but it's for your missus! Funny post, that. :D:D
Oi! Mrs Riverland! Get your own identity so you don't have to borrow Riverland's anymore!:D:D
When I was a bit younger I really enjoyed playing a good game basketball. Getting up there for a slam dunk occasionally, nailing a few 3 pointers or scoring 2 points over a 6 foot 4 defender was always good.
Now,
Watching my 2 little girls play
A great project
A nice Chinese meal
A clean workshop
Getting some nice timber
Buying tools
Cutting a nice dovetail
Wandering in the bush
Finding Red Cedar trees
Finding rosewood logs
Cutting down Red Cedar trees and checking the colour
Working out the best way to process a log to give the best boards
Cutting up logs and checking the grain, each board is different
Wandering around Mal's timber stacks and wondering what he is going to do with all the wood
Saturday and or Sunday mornings with a good (or bad) woman
Watching Rugby at the Oak
Japanese meals with plenty of offal
Mozart when I'm down
Making mum happy. 83 and still running two farms!
Writing rubbish in this forum
Regards
Greg
My family
The dogs
Renovating
Rugby Union
Cricket
Mates
Red Wine
Good Beer
Good bands at good pubs
Dancing like a freak after much aforementioned good beer and red wine
Mucking around in the Shed
Good movies
Good books
as per Termite - waking up with a pulse is a bit of a buzz

You still do that :eek:Quote:

Sitting outside with the wife having an afternoon coffee watching the two kids playing together!
Having a quiet drink and a good cigar with old friends (and new friends too)
And yeah definately waking up with a pulse, always a good thing!
Friday afternoon chats
Knowing that you can leave work to go home for the weekend any minute now, just gotta finish reading that last post :D
G'day,
• Seeing my daughter look up at me and smile at me when I get het up from her cot.
• my wife
• designing something for my clients that pushes the envelope and they believe in me and run with it.
• life
• working with my hands
• family
• and good friends
• enjoying the beauty of nature around me ie. walking in a rainforest etc.
I had one today when I went home for lunch.
SWMBO and I were downstairs and just as we stopped talking the sound of my three and a half year old son singing Who let the dogs out at the top of his lungs in his bedroom upstairs over and over.:D
HH.
Half your luck mate! Been awhile since I enjoyed a lunchtime romp ;)Quote:

It's Saturday morning, no work until Monday, no people expected on the weekend, no urgent maintenance, I'm in my shed, I look out the window and my 6 YO daughter is wandering down to spend some time with me. :)
Monday Morning Browsing the forums, coffe in hand and being totally gobsmacked by the beautiful work that has been posted over the weekend.
