Good thing the cricket was on, even though thats taken a turn for the worst.
Trouble is it means either West Coast or Adelaide in the Grand Final, pity. Carn the Vics.......
We are still crying into our Breakfast beer!!!! Watched the game, simply outclassed by a better team (That really hurt to say that). I must still be in shock, i can't think of anything else to abuse you about! God i hope West Coast win next week.
You are supposed to say 'a better team on the day' except when talking about the Eagles as they are a better team always.Quote:

Eagles theme song after Saturday:
Once.....................twice.................always a loser.............:D
Hey Gaz,
Just got back from 3 weeks in NZ, havent hear a single footy result in that time.
Too bad I'm not much of a footy follower, otherwise I'd have to give ya a bit of stick :)
Shame I wasnt home on Saturday night, I would have invited you over to watch the drubbing on the big screen :)
RB
so I guess if the swans manage to win (a draw would be different :D ) then the mexicans would say 'oh look South Melbourne has won a final after (No of years hear) again' totally forgetting that since the inception of the AFL all vfl previous finals dont count in the AFL. :D
Pete
Go The Crows
First AFL team to win back to back finals
Yeah Yeah, whatever :(Quote:

It reminds me of a song from ages back. What was it again? Something like "Up yours, Gazaly".
:D
Actually, its Cazaly.

So nuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh:p
Just to introduce a serious note into all the usual p1ss-taking: I am, as a devoted Eagles fan, absolutely delighted for Barry Hall that he can play in the Grand Final.
I can't imagine how bloody awful it would be for a footballer to lead his team all season, qualify for a Grand Final and then be rubbed out of contention on a touchy-feely (because that's all it was - we've all seen much worse go unpunished).
I know - Magpie fans will cite Anthony Rocca and there are a bunch of others. I feel the same way about those blokes. A one-match penalty handed down to a player the week before a Grand Final is a more severe penalty by an order of magnitude than the same one week handed down to a player during the home and away round.
The spirit of the competition is that the best two teams contest the game's ultimate prize. That couldn't happen in this case if Barry Hall was prevented from playing.
I won't change my opinion on this even in the unlikely event that the Swans win next week - because they won't!!!!
Go the Mighty Soooooper Eeeeeaaaagles!!!!!![/
Carn the Bloods!!!!!
A victorian team at last, even if they pretend to be from Sydney cos they know the AFL loves to spend money on interstaters...............
Ah who cares anymore, i'm still crying into my BREAKFAST BEER!!!
I just hope the SWANS don't win, it's worse being here when they win then in Adelaide when the crows win. All these ponses come out of the woodwork and try to talk football with me, like they know something about the sport! Perhaps they should just cancel the game from lack of interest!
Duely cancelled all ready for most of us................................
(could anything be worse than being in downtowner Croweater territory when they win???????)
Being anywhere in Victoria!Quote:

So the Bloods finally win one? Carn the Vics!!!!!!!!!
(OK go for it, I'm open, but South Melb was moved without the wishes of their Melb fans so they get the right to celebrate)
Besides saved the Cup going out of the country to WA. (getting in now before they get out of bed)
Bring on the Cricket!
