FC,
I've forgotten what the temp was when you were here. These days it is probably a bit cooler most days between -1 & 14. You'd be fine - make a Victorian of you, none of this softy Qld stuff.:B
You only need to change your name from Funky Chicken to Frozen Chicken.
It snows in them thar hills :D
Don't listen to Bob FC, like I said you'll be OK:B
As you can see, there is tons of room for tents.
That photo was taken 2 Winters ago, not this morning.

Probably when it's not so cold for the softies Peter. I am just getting ideas so I can prepare if necessary.
For example:
Are there enough interested people to have a Woodworking Weekend or would people prefer to make it a one day event, or maybe nobody is interested at all?
Should I drag those Blackwood logs closer to the shed if someone wants to bring along a mill?
Should I prepare some pen blanks if someone wants to bring their small lathe? What size are pen blanks?
Should I make a few benches if people need them for their wonderful trick?
Are you interested in coming along?
The planning process of course does not stop anyone coming up prior to the big day.
Well I is interested.:D But I haven't got any tricks other people can't do already. I could bring my potters wheel! Everyone could make a mess, and have a laugh.
If you want to drag the Blackwood Logs out, I'll bring the mill up
TL, that sounds great. We have heaps of space to set up your wheel and the mess won't matter. What do you need for the wheel?
DJ, I am fairly sure they are blackwood (I didn't drop them), if not they will be Black Wattle or Native Cherry. They are approx 1 foot in diam. I also have some much larger Peppermint Gum logs. I shall go you halves if you are interested.
Wish I was closer, I would love another weekend in the wild.:)
