Crikey Sheddie, I didn't realise that things were that gloomy. Take care of yourself now you have a little mate to look after. Is your GP up to the task of chatting? Don't be afraid to ask for a referal, yeah I know that's easier after the claim is accepted. Don't stop the medication in a hurry just because you wake up one morning feeling pretty good...can have dire consequences.

Agree with the advice about keeping on the happy pills and doing stuff you enjoy.

NOW is the time to do those projects* that you put off before: this is a round tuit, right now - I know you won't believe it, but this is the opportunity to do the things that having jobs and wives and other crap meant you couldn't do then. So do 'em NOW.

I was pretty outraged at what Ron posted but i thought it was your right to respond first sheddie.
