You must remember that these are closed forums open only to registered members. We currently average around 15 non registered visits to every member visit.
This will give some idea of the traffic on these forums. (The figures are the average for 1 day this month and all are rounded down to the nearest hundred):
Genuine Hits: 83,700
Page views: 3,486,300
Members visits: 1,970
Non member visits: 59,500
If these forums were open to everyone the results of these polls could be vastly different. With this in mind I decided put on this forum specially for polls and open it to all visitors not just members.
We'll try it and see what happens.

PS It is entirely possible that most visitors really don't care two hoots for all these polls and that most come looking for specific answers or information then leave never to return.
