If you look at his profile on eBay now, you'll see he is "no longer a registered user". I doubt whether your complaint alone was enough to cause that.

Oh shyte:doh: , guess I will have to resort to trying to get his number from some low friends in high places, might only take a phone call from them to make him change his mind:~
Anyone here 7 foot tall 6 foot wide and live in Mount Tamborine?
Yep - the seller :D
Doesn't mean that all is lost. Might be saying that he is a "not a registered user" because you have opened a dispute
$45.......put it down to lifes lessons
Lesson 4: The world is full of a$$....s :D
You are right and I am not overly worried about the money, money is for spending after all and I parted with it over three weeks ago so the money is long forgotten. I just hate the fact that for two weeks I have rushed home to check my letterbox and see if that big stanley is in there and it hasn't been:C
By the look of his feedback to date, I would have bought from him.
One thing that I usually do before buying, is to check sellers out with using toolhaus.org
This can give you a list of all the negative, neutral, or mutually withdrawn feedbacks either recieved by, or left by a specific seller.
There have been a few times that I have decided not to buy from a seller, only because the feedbacks seemed to have a recurring theme, but, as I said, I would have bought from him, so it doesnt always help.
Well after going through the whole dispute thing - ten days there was no response so that meant I could close the dispute and ask ebay for the members details. They emailed me his phone number and this was cc'd to him. He was using his partners email so though the name on that I was able to find out even more about him such as address as the phone was listed in his partners name.
So I called his this afternoon and got a really pleasent reception, it seems the wireless broadband they were using became unusable and they switched back to dialup along with a new email address. Because emails from his old address were not being responded to ebay suspended him so he could not log on - don't ask me why he did not contact them and sort this out:rolleyes:
Anyways, he tells me, "yeah I have your stuff in a box waiting to be sent off but have no address for you, I am surprised you did not call earlier, you must be very patient". I tell him the saga of trying to get his contact details and he is very appologetic, says he will send my planes tomorrow:2tsup:
So the cheque is in the mail....
Hope that it arrives, sometimes it pays to be patient. I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt.

Hey Burnsey, what happened? Did you get your stuff?
Bob
Burnsy get a forumite to call around and pick them up for you. Then post them ourselves. That wqay you will get them.
Tell him your relation lives near there and will collect them.
Good luck.
