Peter,
I hope you get your guts tied up satisfactorily before heading to the Old Dart; wrestling with an umbrella in the wind and rain could put a strain on the abdominal muscles. :)

Good luck with the op, Peter.
Of course you could employ someone to do your shedtime while you are laid up (like people who employ dog walkers). I am sure there are some people from southern states who might like a 10 week holiday up North!!! And this way you can get the backlog dealt with!!
Hard work never hurt anyone........................who supervised it
Good Luck Jo!! I hope you've got the bell hidden far away but the tv remotes and wireless keyboard/mouse ready to be rolled out!! :U
Who knows Peter, maybe Jo might take over your shed :D  :)
Seriously though, I wish you a short op and a speedy recovery so you can both enjoy your trip away. Glad to see you will be over there after the summer and before the winter really hits.
Cheers
Wendy
Note to mods: Can we look at changing this rule while the midge is otherwise engaged?:D
P,
I can't see what you're worried about, it's not like you actually achieve anything in your "shed".:o You can spend your ten weeks just thinking about the unfinished works in progress and just look at a few snapshots of the shed and sniff at a bit of sawdust to get the same effect. All the best!
Mick
Midge you can be rest assured while your recovering you'll be able to see and comment on what everyone else is been up to with gusto.
Take time to enjoy your rest n recovery the keyboard won't strain you too much but the laughter will have you in stitches.
In the mean time you can fill us in on your UK plans have you booked a cargo hold for timber & tools you'll be returning with.
Ray
ps please no WIP of the op
Oh no. I can see the political threads getting longer :o:q
Quick someone pick a fight with BM and we will keep him so busy, he wont miss the shed..:U
Good luck mate, look after yourself, and if you get bored, you are always in the drivel forum to waste some time:2tsup:
Good luck Midge, hope all goes well for the op. Lets know how it went..
I haven't been in my shed for 11 weeks now, broke my arm/wrist and hasn't been fixing itself too well. hope to get back into it soon. :2tsup:
Well I would never have said that bitingmidge lacked intestinal fortitude!
You know when people say you should bust a gut to finish something, you shouldn't take them literally... All the best with everything, sounds like you'll still have plenty to do in the new year. :)
Well I know I have the intestines, 'cause I can feel them when I breathe!
Thanks for the wishes, all's well, and today I managed to escape the lure of the shed by sleeping a lot. Tomorrow.... well I'm not sure.
Be prepared for a whole photo thread on the daughter's wedding news suppose!
Cheers,
P
:D :D :D
Can I borrow your Domino then? :D
Hope it all goes well Peter.
Thanks Scott,
For all I know right now, you might already have it! I'm fine, except for the bits I think with! :D
Cheers,
P
:D

There was an old bloke with a hernia

If you get desparate I'll let you in my shed, bring a few small pieces of timber and we'll make another box.
Hope op. is not a problem, the nurses kept coming back to look at mine.
