See now me young cobber... you'll figure this one out as yer go past the majikal 40 things change... just when you start to want to settle down and put down roots somewheres your beloved other half will start to thinkin about wanderin... so you of course will go along with her wants cause you love her to bits... and thats that...

There are however some lucky gits in this world who have a pleasurable time get married have nippers stay put for 40 or more years... then theres those other buggars who get the wonderlust every few years and theres nothing for it but another move in the wind

Actually we had hoped to stay put when we bought here nice block nice babbling creek not so nice house but had the $$ to fix it and the place up everything was honkey dorey it was... then a month after we got flooded out lost near on everything to the nice babbling creek so all the $$ put aside to fix the place up went into getting us all back on an even keel... then over the last two years its been a constant uphill battle with ill health house issues and now land and water issues meaning were unable to build the house we want on the property... so weve decided to move on

Yep agent comes tomorrow and its on the market as of then... they reckon they have someone who wants a 2 acre property to run a few horses on with a weekender but not necessary with a shed but not particularily main thing is the land with year round water and semi rural so they can run a few horses... this place is PERFECT for just that... and has the semi rural status with the shire to allow it... and it appears theres not to many within 20klicks of a major town available so were in a good possie for a quick sale which is ideal for us.

Were intending on moving toward the coast to Australind which is less than 20 minutes away but a lot more bedderer... have already looked at 2 places today and am contemplating putting an offer in on one tomorrow when the agent comes... "subject to..." of course :2tsup:


Weve just had enough of battling this place... its not worked out so before everything totally goes to shyte we will upstakes and move on to greener fields :2tsup:

funny she didnt say anything till later in the arvo when I was out there in the cave sookin cause of the flu her selfish thoughts of housing an the phissin rain stoppin me gettin power on so I could do somethin and she waltzed out and stood in the doorway and surveyed the dark palace... "yer right darls sorry you NEED a shed... so Kals out right? Cause I think we'd have a riot on our hands if we moved out there you know? I fair flew over the bench between us knockin the mig welder onto the deck as I leapt in the air landed on a screw grabbed her up in me arms still doin a one footed jig and gave her a big good ol fashioned dingo pash!! right there in the shed I did!! the bandsaw was agast the table saw hid under the cover the thicknesser snickered at which sound I threw a hammer at it clockin it right on the table and the jointer shuddered while all the rest of them sat and hung their head... At least it arrived, had it been me it probably never would have shown. Or it would be broken. I'd have noted that right after I used it to set something important up and broke that too. lol. Whats scary is I need to get one myself, I'm rebuilding my trans here in the next week or so. Watch me buy one, set up my trans, reinstall trans, blow up trans, and find its all due to a miscalibrated dial indicator. :- :- Then watch me rinse and repeat. I do that sort of things all the time. In fact I'm on my third head, first one the machine shop ruined then chucked me out the door, second one, the replacment, had a bad cam gear and it let loose a half mile down the road and interference engine said hello to new head, third one is on the car, bolted up, I've been avoiding finishing it though, I don't know why. :q

I've found it helps greatly not to take life seriously. Its all good. :cool:

Take this advice from someone who has owned 2 , yes TWO, Rovers (should have learned my lesson first time around!) and a friend with a Daimler Sovereign. The Daimler was bought new, bits broke and fell off throughout its' life, same with the Rovers'.

Worst part of both brands is that the electrics always break down etc.
I can go on, but I haven't got the gift of the gab like you have.
