Woodgirl,
MRS HDT's hobby is organising what MR HDT is doing:p and she seems too enjoy it.
Help me:o No way. you need to read the code of practice no girlies in my shed

I gotta make something mine's waving a frying pan at me...
Upon consideration of your good advice, I have the answer:devilred:
I'll go home tonight, straight to the shed
Cut one of the slabs on the TABLE SAW
Run it over the JOINTER
Through the THICKNESSER
Put a pretty edge on it with the ROUTER
Then put in the middle of lounge room floor
When she asks "What is it? I will reply
It will be a coffee table when I get a BANDSAW
Anybody got a room to rent for a few days:-
Well it's high time Mrs HDT got a life, or a hobby to fill some of it! Take her down the shop and buy her a whole pile of that scrapbooking stuff, you know, bits of coloured paper, scissors, beads'n'stuff and a giant pot of glue ... sit her in the corner to do her thing so she leaves you alone to do yours! (you could be down the shed producing wooden boxes to store the stuff she makes, coz it sure as heck won't see the light of day once made ... get the idea I hate the garbage? :p ) Can't believe I'm sticking up for a bloke ... but woodies defend woodies, right?
Which leads me to Col's Code of Practice? Where's the bit that protects MY shed space from any BLOKE that wants to come wandering in? It's sexist!! :(
Cheers
Are there any projects that you can do without a bandsaw?
No. Everyone needs a bandsaw. Preferably one of mine.
