I lost my Mother to liver cancer 9 years ago, it was fast and merciless, all I can add is that the hospital staff were wonderful and the drugs used allowed her to enjoy her limited time free from pain.

Maglite, know the feeling. You get to thinking Mum and Dad are immortal, and it comes as real shock to learn otherwise.
