I used the Zinsser WOP for my most recent project. I bought it at the Pitt St Sunlite Mitre10.
I’ll post some photos tomorrow, when I get to my laptop
It is much better than Feast Watson’s WOP

Never had a failure using Minwax.
To be polite, FW needed to improve to be classed as bad.
Don’t have a Mitre 10 here but Bundaberg does, so, next time I’m there, I’ll check and let you know.
Pictures as promised
Dulux trade stores carry Zinzer bleed stop but don’t know about any of there other products
Was the Minmax everyone used water based or hydrocarbon solvent based?
hydrocarbon (as is the Zinsser)
Oil based Minwax was sold through Masters and after they closed Minwax decided they would not service customers in Oz at all and believe me I tried more than once to get some. It was the oil based product that most were using. Since then the oil based product seems very hard to get and I read somewhere that it had been banned in California so maybe that is the reason. I recently bought a couple of tins of water based Minwax from Amazon and have used it with similar results to the oil based product.
Thanks. I’ve seen the water based on Amazon from an Aussie supplier, hence the question. Thinking of giving it a try.
