Might be just an urban legend, but I heard that there is a bungie jump setup somewhere where the supervising guy has a rather twisted sense of humour. Gets the jumper all strapped in, double-checks everything, gives instructions on what to do, checks everything again, then taps them on the back to say OK to jump. Just as they lean forward past the angle of no return, he shouts "NO....WAIT!!"

I've heard that one quite a few times over the years. Can't testify to it's accuracy.

Used to bungee jump waay back in early '70s in NZ. it was not always fun in those days.

Is that like the I****man, who wanted the strap to be tied around his neck, he didn't like the idea of being upside down.

Hey Sturdee, are you blind? It seems to me that the only people who get cross at humour like this are people who aren't disabled. I know a guy who is blind and he has a great sense of humour. This wouldn't phase him at all. Disabled people do actually have a sense of humour and mostly don't need other people making them feel socially disabled as well by jumping in to protect them all the time.
I'm getting pretty old now. Will you jump in and protect me if someone tells an 'old people' joke? I laugh at them all the time. I'm bald too. Are bald jokes banned?

I'm a disabled person also, and I find humour keeps me going!!!!!

Hey Dougsshed that tatt' is a real beaut, I had always said that when I went bald I'd get a tattoo of a flock of rabbits on my scone, from a distance they'd look like hares. Though bald now for years I haven't got around to it but now I think I'd change my mind and I'd go for the bloke pushing a mower.
The problem I see with that though is once you'd got the tatt' and went a bit balder he wouldn't be mowing at the periphery of your hairline and everyone would think he was blind.
