Wash your brushes in turps...3/4 times until reasonably clean, then dip brushes in some car engine oil, work the oil right through the brush. Engine oil is non drying, so your brush will not dry out or go stiff. You can hang you paint brush, or lay it in a drawer as long as bristles are straight. Next time you want to use the brush, a quick rinse in a little turps and the brush will be soft and ready to use. Use good quality brushes and keep them in great shape with this method. Don't waste your time on cheap brushes.
For roller sleeves..try using foam rollers, buy them cheap, and throw them away. Its ok...foamies straight out of the packet have no dust or impurities in them, dont lose hairs or fluffy stuff, and although they bubble everywhere...you have a very good quality, soft brush to lay off your enamel/poly U work.
