Bobby pins in the washing machine is bad enough, but this morning I picked this out of the filter in the dishwasher. How the hell can that happen?

I've had to fish a few out of the bathroom hand basin, when SWMBO runs out of them. "Don't know where they've gone, I just keep running out of them??"
