..... and the cabinet is now surrounded by furniture of its own age, grace and style although it is, by far, the shiniest. I have shown the new owner how to clean, feed and wax the existing collection ....... and directed him to this forum!

PS, I'm sorry but I have now OFFICIALLY GIVEN UP on trying to get my pictures to post the right way up! I have found that the addition of up to 30 minutes on each post is not rewarded with success and is deterring me from posting :ranting2:

An excellent piece of periodic furniture redolent of a bygone era .Nice to see a piece that has survived and is in all its respective glory.
