Not receiving email notifications

Sorry Neil and friends, l have only just noticed this thread and HAD thought it was only me who was no longer received email notification. I thought maybe I hadn't paid my bill. :U

• Is it only subscribed thread notifications you aren't getting or PM notifications as well? I am not receiving either thread notifications nor PM notification but I don't ever recall receiving the latter?
  
• Your email provider... eg: hotmail, gmail, bigpond, etc Optusnet
• Has there been a recent upgrade to your computer or programs, etc. Auto or manual.grades No 'manual' changes but I do remember a recent 'automatic' OS10 upgrade
  
• Anything else you think may be relevant - Including change of email address. No other changes I can recall

Answer as many of the above as you can and that information might help us to track down the problem.

WWF has been listed on a spam blacklist by Spamcannibal. Possibly because of past issue with another site on the same server and possibly because we are a forum and send out a reasonable amount of emails per day with updates etc. Could also go back to the server we inherrited when the forums were moved to a bigger faster one a couple of years ago as we found out later that server had previously been blacllisted for spamming and was on a watch list. We do not send out spam or any unrequested emails. Delisting has been requested. No idea how long this may take.

Steven is also working on a fix for problem with the mail server

Bigpond is showing: Connection refused. 209.95.48.51 has a poor reputation on the Cloudmark Sender Intelligence (CSI) list. So we probably still have issues delivering to Microsoft owned services like hotmail, outlook, any company running exchange, etc..

All I can tell you for now. More when it all gets sorted.

I'm on hotmail and have been getting emails since the first fix a few months ago :?

I received an email notice at 8.22AM relating to Keith_01's locomotive build. This is the first response for a couple of weeks. I did not receive email notification of yours,

You can actually, go to settings, then to general settings ( https://www.woodworkforums.com/profil...do=editoptions ) and you'll see about half a dozen options related to notifications there.
