Aw!, now c'mon guys. To you fellas on the east side of OZ this is quite normal. I mean Oxford street stretches all the way from Melbourne to Brisbane - well so to speak. To us here in the wild west of course, such dress code is totally foreign. It may as well be in Europe or South Africa.

I went to a priests and prostitutes party a few years ago dressed as a nun. I've got to admit that wearing the habit was rather liberating and made me wish I'd been born a Scot. If I was I'd wear a kilt all the time.
A problem arose during the party when some of the "prostitutes" tried to find out what I was wearing under the habit. Made me wish I'd worn a sporran.

I wore mine to an RSL New Years Eve turnout a few years ago, all the old dears after a few G&T's kept sticking their bloody hands up my kilt, would have been OK if the youngest one wasn't about 70 :mad:

I too have worn a kilt to a ball at Sydney Town Hall, in fact the full getup with long socks lace up shoes and a dirk. Japanese tourists were taking photos of us when we got out of the cab!

I had the same experience with most females wanting a grope, which is OK as they were mostly under 70:D but I nearly came a cropper during some fierce dancing to "I would walk 500 miles"...just got the hand on the sporran as the legs went up in the air:o
