I started the thread to give a small tip, which I found helpful, to other Firefox users. I just find it strange to see someone ranting about a browser you no longer use in a thread to help others.

I usually use FF but this time I'm using IE because Bigpond have a usage meter which I wanted and it will only work with IE (according to their tech guy). I wonder if this is collective bargaining or restrictive trade practices by telstra and microsoft. Anyone have any hints or way around this? Is there another usage meter I could use?Do I have any choice
Another reason (and maybe the real one) why I deleted it is that my online TAB account doesn't work with FF :eek:

I use firefox and thankyou for the tip, but I have no idea how to put that stuff into the file... My pages load quick enough for me anyways.
Some websites don't load the same or even work with firefox and that isn't firefox's fault, but the webmaster of that sites fault. I have IE still on my PC for when that occurs.
So I would use IE 1% of the time and FF 99% of the time :)
I use internet banking and never have problems.
I find FF has problems with most Active Server Pages. Consequently I have to keep IE handy for banking and my web-based link to work's email list, which is also based on ASPs. Its a Microsoft proprietary thing :mad:Quote:
