Of late I have been to 3 $2 shops entered the min door tried to go down a few isles turned around and went back out :(( Reasons for boxes of carp everywhere isles to narrow a pram won't even fit down them let alone a shopping trolly.

Don't know about the little Asians hiding behind the boxes, but I can certainly agree with the stuff about the narrow aisles and the boxes of carp, I mean stock, parked all over the floor. I wonder how they get away with it. I thought that shopping centres -westfield etc. would have to comply with access requirements.Quote:

Avery about 10 years ago a situation arose in a major brand store here in Westfeilds where by a Fire Exit door could not be seen, could not have got to it without moving heavy furniture. The same store had 60% of its staff off on lunch at the same time, they had dropped stock all around the floor and where in various stages of replenishing. Not only could I not get around but nor could able bodied with trollies or strollers. If a fire had broken out towards the front of the store no one would have found the exit. I spoke to the manager at the time his reply was not my problem That was in front of Sue and two parents with a baby in a stroller.Quote:

News media some how got hold of the issue :wink: and soon things were fixed sadly now it has reverted. As back then the excuse will be "the rent we pay we need to use every bit of floor space we can for stock"
