i must express my shock here guys. All this interstate rivalry what gives? in this thread your all kicking the crap out of each other and in the natonal anthem thread your all united against the world. Do I sense a bit of indecision here?
To quote Lord Byron "He who loves not his country can love nothing"
or have Queensland and Victoria been sold off.

No problems here at all. We are all Australians united against the foreigners when outside our borders. But when at home we can take the p1ss out on the other staters.Quote:

Bah!!! Jewel in the Commonwealth indeed!!
Queensland is the last bastion of the Empire!!
But I do kill a toad or two every night and just fished fifty thousand tadpoles out of the fish pond!!!
Beejay1, you have to understand that Aussie Blokes are incapable of expressing any affection whatsoever, so the way it works is the more you love someone, the more poo you pile on...everyone here understands of course!!!

I reckon that survey would show higher than 60% at present but i think the english lot would probably still find fault and want to come backto UK but thats not such a bad thing. Mind you lots of them now are going to spain and France etc in search of warmer climes but the attitudes remain unchanged eg expecting fish and chips, full english breakfast, and all the locals speaking fluent english in a tiny community hidden away in the Andalucians!

So thats it, I can't take it anymore, this heat is killing me. I've put the place on the Market, sold the stinky cat car and we are going home. I should have listened to what Grandmama said. I can't wait to get back to my origins, back to my birth right.
We are off tomorrow. I went down today to the travel agents and picked up the tickets. I couldn't believe it as I held them in my own hands, bloody marvellous, one way tickets to Bondi!.
Get it??, go back home to Bondi......guys:confused: .. Oh brother......
Bondi is a West Australian, and has the gaol papers to prove it, he liked boats too
Which of course goes a long way to explaining why "Brisbane" in this post was substituted for the "Busselton" in the original version.
Verry clever Mr Squizz, but we've got your number now!!
