The barb is rolled into coils and stacked out of the way. It's not any problem where it is at the moment (unless I get the scrappie in to get rid of the young blokes escort van beside it. Major cleanup and updates going on with view of putting the place on the market in the new year.
I will be going to Rosebud for Xmas in my ute, but the Mrs will want the front seat and other gear & dogs get the back. Of course the dogs would rather the front with the airconditioner; but I can see the Mrs putting up a fight about having the back.
Actually the wire is in better nick than the box posts. Out of 36 of them I doubt if there will be a weeks winter heating in them.

I hope Xmas's weather is mild the for your dogs sake at least then. Thanks very much for bringing down the barb Toggy, it's probably the best time too as I'll get a little breather from work before next year to put it into action.

After leaving work behind for the last time this year :cool: I pulled into our driveway and saw two big rolls of barbed wire that Ken had dropped off :thanx2: I'm so stoked, it's just what I wanted, thanks heaps Ken :thyel: Unfortunatley we didn't get to meet up though and that no one was here to greet him with a cuppa as the better half was called into work out of the blue :grumble:
Just so you get the picture here's the barb. The re-configured carcass as yet without all the barb or front-end modifications and other stuff. The general construction method. And a small length of barb weaved in. Pretty sure it's not gunna be a tip toe amongst the tulips getting this one done :whistling2:

Well the pointy nose pliers slipped off the fenceing wire as I was forcefully pulling it through a few holes and I copped the pointy end up me nose and at the same time punched myself in the head :- :doh:

I'm only using safety glasses when I'm using the angle grinder with the wire brush attachment deep from hell...and I'm lying :- I've gotten to know that fencing wire wants to go back the way it was and one must put in a little time persuading it to do otherwise :cool:
