On a serious note (whatever that means) I recall reading that the on board computers used by NASA for the first manned moon landing had less memory than a personal organiser, and a bit bigger too.

The average car or truck has more computing power than NASA used to put a man on the moon. Progress? I wonder sometimes. ;)
