Sounds to me like Ford is aware of this problem with your engine.Quote:

Good to hear you are back on the road again Al.
Al, sorry to hear the trouble - although it comes as no surpise.
That little black ute I had has just been put to rest - 2 years old and with 60,000kms. After looking at the full service history - it went back to the service dept. every 3 weeks on average, with the total fix list including eight engine management computer upgrades, front disc rebuilds x2, pads x4, eight tyres due to irregular wear, one alloy wheel replacement due to blowout from irregular tyre wear, master brake cylinder replacement, steering rack replacement, three spare tyre winches due to seizing, new sump gasket due to oil leak, .... I think that was about it.
Unlike yours utes heart attack mine suffered a long a debilitating cancer, and I'm happy that it's not suffering any more.
Geez Eastie, what sort of ute was that?
I always thought that Ozwinner needed new a head. :DQuote:
