 I've been waiting for ages to use that photo, and now it's been wasted.
Keeping with the rock 'n' roll theme.
Too old to rock & roll - too young to die.

Close, but not the image I was looking for.
I'm looking for something historical not hysterical :D
Here's a clue........
Attachment 204398
After GJ's last hint I went looking for a certain picture and nearly cacked myself when I came across this..........
A giraffe suit, not a giraffes rock.
GJ
Not going too well with the clue (looks a little like a medieval, agricultural seeder:?), but didn't want to be accused of sexism so here's a female:wink:.

Still trying. (A lot of people have said that.)
"Too old to rock and roll.Too young to die."
Can't seem to get away from the philosophical. Looking for humour (makes a change from love:wink:.) Am I in the right forum here:??

Showing my age here.....
Ah, well done Old Biker - I must have been thick as a brick not to get that clue :p
Old Biker is right on the money, take it away mate.
Any image of Ian Anderson or Jethro would have won.
Ian Anderson, front man for the band Jethro Tull.

The real Jethro Tull
Attachment 204600
Jethro Tull (30 March 1674 – 21 February 1740) was an English agricultural pioneer who helped bring about the British Agricultural Revolution. He perfected a horse-drawn seed drill in 1701 that economically sowed the seeds in neat rows, and later a horse-drawn hoe. Tull's methods were adopted by many large landowners, and they helped form the basis of modern agriculture.
Here endeth the lesson kiddies, I'll try to not be so vague if I get another crack at this thread (should have gone with the truck ).
OK - newbie at this. How about

What are friends for?

Love the puppies; wouldn't try that trick with £1 shop gaffer tape; don't get the tennis one (must be an Oz thing); Stevie an all time favourite; George & friend a little too much after just finishing my dinner.
But the Blind Cat gets it.
Over to you Grumpy
OB
I did say it was obscure:rolleyes:. In the twenties men's tennis was dominated by four french players
Jean Borotra (1898-1994)
Jacques Brugnon (1895-1978)
Henri Cochet (1901-1987)
René Lacoste (1904-1996)
They were known as "Les Quatres Mousquetaires." For/four?. I did say it was obscure. Not having the skills of the other forum contestants I have to improvise a little more, test the boundaries a little more and generally resort to devious tactics:cool:.
So really it's a Froggy thing more than an Oz thing.:p
Having said all that..... I would have chosen GJ's cat too:D. He's on a bit of a roll at the moment.

Paul
Thanks OB & BM :B.
Dad? I dug another hole!
Dale Kerrigan: The Castle
This one is cheating 'cos it moves, but it's warm and fuzzy and apart from a little dirt is totally clean:cool::?. Will post some stills for consideration too.

I kinda like Cliffs entry, for the fact that that there is no hole :p:rolleyes:.
Give it your best shot Cliff.

"Blind? Really?"
"Blind? Really?"
For most of us, once we're able to sweet talk our way into Lamborghini Gallardo, going 192 mph isn't that difficult. But Luc Costermans has at least one more major obstacle to overcome: he's been blind for four years.
Despite that, he managed to borrow an orange Gallardo for an attempt on the Blind Speed Record. Congratulations are in order for both Luc and the Gallardo's owner, as the record was broken and the Gallardo apparently wasn't. Luc set the Blind Speed Record at 192 mph.
