I never got a coffee on Friday
So on a serious a note I’m going to suggest that we leave Friday in place but I see if I can get a Sunday night slot as well
tnoughts welcome

Time differences among the Eastern states ends next month, albeit temporarily. For six months there will only be 2 hours difference east to west and north to south. Apart from WA, there will only be 30 minutes difference.
I think keeping Friday and adding on Sunday is a good idea. See how it develops. Both may be popular or one may become dominant and wipe the other out. That would be the participants voting with their attendance.
I would prefer 8pm rather than 7pm but that's just my preference.
Well, I missed the Prattle 2 weeks running...On both occasions I had a deadline to meet and work right through the day and didn't even remember that the Prattle was on... As my own circumstances have somewhat changed, I would prefer another time, late afternoon - say 5 or 6pm. Please note this is just my personal preference.
The original time of 12 noon on a Friday suited Lance & I when the prattle first started. As the number of participants increase a new time slot may well prove more suitable for everyone.
Cheers,
Yvan
I am happy with whatever time suits the rest of you. I can forget what day of the week it is whichever day is chosen.

If there's a more suitable time for a change of, or an additional prattle I think it's a great idea. I think that like Fridays, it would be good for someone to stick their hand up to be the custodian of the group (post reminders etc).
Additionally, to keep things simple, there is no reason additional prattles can't use the same zoom meeting details as Friday (for those that haven't realised, it's the same meeting ID every week).
Hiya Matt
I've been away all weekend, including the public holiday so hadn't progressed anything.... I was looking to test out Skype Meet Now Organize conference calls on Skype with one click | Skype as there is no time limits. looks like the personal meeting links don't expire either
Test link: https://join.skype.com/u73k1kv4B1UL (you can join as a guest) but many may already have Skype
I called it Sunday Round Table Jabber :)
Happy for you to be custodian and arrange it differently, it's just where my thought patterns had gone :)
Cheers
Phil
Phil,
I think Sunday round table Jabber is a perfect name.
With regards Skype an other technology stuff, I need both my hands held, an told do that now, hit that button now, Don’t ask stupid questions, remember in a past career I was paid to hit stuff with hammers [emoji3064][emoji3064].
Cheers Matt.
That's gold ......
Sometimes i was paid to drive around for hours doing mobile coverage tests ..... in those days the number we used because it was the only thing that would stay connected for hours cannot be mentioned on a family forum :)
we also got paid to hammer things :)
Can't believe another week has flown by.....

A small group gathered today and had a fun enjoyable time.
For those that think we just talk serious about the topic and wood may be surprised how the topics shifted around today.
We started with the concept of what happens when you breath in to many glue fumes, shifted to the effects of acetone and then the smells of two stroke oils that then shifted the conversation to motorcycles and motorcycle racing, with a focus on the madness of the isle of man TT. this lead into the mental state of the racers till eventually with another arrival into the prattle the subject got shifted back to glues with Titebond 3 and 2 being the go to ones for general woodwork. the min temps for use and storage was checked out.
Epoxy generally for gluing dissimilar materials.
CA glue came in the mix for instant success.
So we covered a broad range today.
Cheers
Phil
Good to catch up with the attendees.
I was interested to hear Phil's good news story with trojan glues. There are some great people out there.
Not like my latest experience where I purchased a 50mm stainless steel burner for an LPG torch for about $55 plus postage which came to $68.85 The next day I received a refund with the reason being given that the product was either out of stock or damaged. I thought this odd as there had been ten available. Had there been a sudden rush to buy or were they all damaged by vandals or driven over by a passing army tank? I looked up the listing and sure enough there it was with ten available still.... At $99 :((
On a more palatable subject. Here is Peter Hickman's record lap of the Isle Of Man TT race in 2018. 37miles in sixteen minutes 42 seconds for an average speed of over 135mph. As I mentioned in our hookup, his commentary is very articulate for some body who has very few brains, but testicles that would not look out of place on a rhincocerous. Nobody with brains would do what he does  .

Just for comparison this is a Subaru WRX STI on the same course. Not quite standard as I think it was putting out about 600bhp. It was nearly a minute slower.
2016 Subaru WRX STI Isle of Man TT -- Flat Out - YouTube
The Subaru tops out at just over 175mph with the bike maybe 185mph?
Exciting.
If you are a bike man, you should go.
