Holden together forever
Holden on for dear life @ 350km
Holden out for a better one
I'm a Holden nutter too but dare I say I have to admit that Crowie's SR6 was a pleasure to drive
Holden's Common Door....
General Custards Revenge...
General Custards Commode...
I liked the photo's Matt put up...
And I like the "rusty Holden Ute song"..
Plus of course Brocky....a legend of motor sport....
I've owned in the past 43yrs a stack of different cars and all have served me well, some even on the track...
Isuzu Bellet's, hot 1600 Dastun, Saab 99, Mark1 Cortina's [inc GT], 504 Peugoet's, VW Golf, VW Caravelle, Mitsubishi Triton, Ford Panelvan, Toyota Corona GT, Subaru Forester, Ford Falcon's....
Good fun banter, BUT I think hand made wooden toys are the best....
Yes, many of us have our elegance to a particular make, but when it's all said and done nowadays they are all very reliable and good to drive. I have to admit, I have even owned a couple of, cough cough, Fords in my time.
Yeah i got two unregistered fords. One might be worth fixing

Perhaps this thread should be moved to Motor Vehicles or the new Drivel forum?
Very little to do with the original subject which has now well and truly finished.
Im hoping uncle Al is yet to load some of his pics

I found a couple of photos of Ray's repair of the Treadle Lathe close up which he'd asked me to take.....
He's one fine carpenter, the joints are so neat and tight.....I wish I had the where-with-all to do similar....
PS - Just another couple of posts of the photos to come, so I can't wait for Uncle Al's....Thanks Alan, Cheers, Peter
These were done on a old GMC table saw, considering everything, they turned out better than I thought they would.
Turned out excellent
Ray ... someone must be using your phone or not answering it. Just tried to call

And now for the long trip home or at least as far as Ray's place....
My darling wife had requested I ask Ray if could stop overnight on the way back home and Ray kindly put me up....
Thank you Ray for the bed & breakfast plus a HUGE THANK YOU FOR DRIVING ME TO HORSHAM/DOOEN....A big effort but well worthwhile...
Finally again THANK YOU to all the folk who attended and made the Australia Day weekend a top time...mates all....
I only have one more lot of photos to edit and put up in the thread but I'm hoping others who haven't yet will soon; especially Uncle Al & Bob please, Cheers Peter
Sorry, I missed this post. It is Peacock brand made in New Zealand. I bought it for Maureen when I was working in New Zealand about 30 years ago. I don't know if they are still made or not.
Can only suggest that you google Peacock spinning wheel made in NZ.

And finally the gathering ended for me at Woodstock looking around Ray's new house and shed.....
His handle is true "Ray Will Build" and doing a fine job of it with lots of little & some big extras in the building process that could only come from an experience builder....
His garage on the other hand is full with no room for either car.....
I had a top weekend and took some of Dooen home on my boots....
I also made sure I said THANK YOU to my beautiful 24carat gold wife with a big bunch of flowers when I got home.....
Cheers Peter
PS - Hoping Uncle Al will soon have some time to process/edit his photos and add them, thank you....
Ray's place looks even more isolated that Dave's judging by that train station photo. Oh the tranquility:U.
Shhhh! keep the noise down please
It seem I have a spare 12mm chisel. As it lacks the rust to blend with mine I have three options
1). Soak it in a rusty bucket full of water for a week or two
2). Auction it
3). Find the owner

Hi All,
What a great Building The Railway Station Building is.
Do they use it for anything, or do they just look at it.
Make a great Mens Shed or a place to use as a workshop.
