This was October 12th last year, so just as well the 13th is a Sunday. :D

Ah again sweet sweat brings new meaning to woodwork.
Here's another pic of Oct 12 2012
Long Range prediction
Whats on in and around Katoomba during Oct Nov
Last but not least its Bathurst 1000 weekend
So well in advance I am out due to above I watch the start and finish these days and I more than once have had to put up with that weekends traffic in the Mountains.:~
It definitely won't be on the Bathurst weekend (because of the traffic, not because I want to watch it). Isn't the Bathurst race split up into a couple of different ones now on two different weekends (you can tell how much interest I have)?
Merde ... Bathurst ... That will mean traffic back to Brisbane ??? Do you think ?? But we could come back monday easy.
The snow looks pretty severe, need chains ?
Greg
I lost interest in Bathurst the day the cars all became the same vehicle. I think that was last century :?.

October:
School hols finish 6th (actually the 7th - Labour Day) No good
Bathurst weekend 13th No good
Can't find any info on Open Days at Trend, H&F etc, but inlikely to be on a Sunday.
So that leaves Oct 20th or 27th, and say Nov 3rd or 10th. Unless there is another Bathurst event....? Can't find anything on the Net.
I'm thinking Sunday 27th October. Perhaps some posts from others if this is not suitable. I'll be opening up a new thread (soon) so don't worry about posting in here if that date is ok (thread gets cluttered).
G'Day Greg,
Sorry for the deception, though the story in my email to you was true, though my sister stayed with mum long enough for her to recuperate enough to be mobile & safe after her knee replacement, otherwise I would have been up home.
I'll see you up there on day.
Cheers, crowie
keep us updatedon date, sounds good
The GTG seems so long ago now, but do you recall the old log that Mutawinji donated? Skew bought it at auction.
Well this might be a relation (to the log, not Skew  ).

What are ya gonna do with that one Paul ... any ideas?
:D
I'm still having problems with the last one!
(I want to cut it in half, but every time I take it to the BS it looks at me with it's big brown knotty bits and I relent, putting it back on the Project Stack... :sigh:)
You've got a project stack? :scratchead: is that a uphamisim for a throw-it-in-the-corner-over-there-and-buggered-if-I-know sort a thing?
if not, then you've come along way since garages were piled sky high with no room for anything let a lone swing an ant. :2tsup:
No quite. My latest shed is even smaller and the stack even larger than before... so it's more a "wedge-it-in-the-tiny-gap-closest-to-the-ceiling-and-buggered-if-I-know" sorta thing.:D
Needless to say, I'm looking forward to when the weather clears enough for me to start considering trundling my tools outside...
everyone has a project stack ... or two ... or a few
you cant turn a corner without seeing numerous projects at my house - I have a wife who wont let me forget lol
