Whats on in and around Katoomba during Oct Nov

Last but not least its Bathurst 1000 weekend

So well in advance I am out due to above I watch the start and finish these days and I more than once have had to put up with that weekends traffic in the Mountains.:~

It definitely won't be on the Bathurst weekend (because of the traffic, not because I want to watch it). Isn't the Bathurst race split up into a couple of different ones now on two different weekends (you can tell how much interest I have)?

I think Brock won in a green Torana in 76. That is the only finish I ever remember. I was at my cousins and they and their dad were into it.

In those days it was easy to tell them apart

October:
School hols finish 6th (actually the 7th - Labour Day) No good
Bathurst weekend 13th No good

Can't find any info on Open Days at Trend, H&F etc, but inlikely to be on a Sunday.

So that leaves Oct 20th or 27th, and say Nov 3rd or 10th. Unless there is another Bathurst event....? Can't find anything on the Net.

I'm thinking Sunday 27th October. Perhaps some posts from others if this is not suitable. I'll be opening up a new thread (soon) so don't worry about posting in here if that date is ok (thread gets cluttered).

The riffler #6 is a hand stitched jobbie from Liogier, France. The stitching grain is #4, second finest, and it has been sapphire coated. This coating is 3800 Vickers hardness (Tungsten Carbide is 2283) so it should stay sharp for a long, long time. Furthermore, it will not rust

if not, then you've come along way since garages were piled sky high with no room for anything let a lone swing an ant. :2tsup:

No quite. My latest shed is even smaller and the stack even larger than before... so it's more a "wedge-it-in-the-tiny-gap-closest-to-the-ceiling-and-buggered-if-I-know" sorta thing. :rolleyes::D

Needless to say, I'm looking forward to when the weather clears enough for me to start considering trundling my tools outside...

you cant turn a corner without seeing numerous projects at my house - I have a wife who wont let me forget lol

:shakehead: it's not getting any warmer, global warming has meant it's perma frost down here and it'll be up your way soon. Gather your timber supplies, your tools, matches and find a cave - it's everyone for himself.
