On the coast there is a thick fog, about 21 deg and very humid.
Heard from someone that the Ferries have been cancelled.
Did my morning walk over the 'Bridge from Milson's Point this morning.
You could barely see the Opera House through the mist. It was as humid as buggery too.
By the time I got in to work I was sweating like the proverbial.
Had to stand over an A/C vent to cool down. :o
Well you'd best brace yourself for when it burns off, Bleedin, cos it's a stinker! :(

About 20 degrees and very windy down here today. Nice day to be in the office. Rather be in the shed though...
Yeh Brendan , the fogs gone now...bring it on baby!...
My only complaint today are the bloody cicada's.... can't hear myself think!
Coolish start this morning, 'bout 7-8° at the pool at 5:50am. Now crisp and clear, 0/8ths and expecting 22° with a light westerly.
The wind direction has just changed to a southerly and the temperature has dropped 5 degrees and humidity is up to 49%. All in the space of about ten minutes.
Yes: I am a weather geek.
Still hot though..... :(
Gawd, next you'll be giving us precipitation reports.

Well its not that warm here BUT its a bl@@dy sight warmer than it usually is this time of year.
The last couple of days I have been working outside in a short sleeved polo shirt, except in the rain.
It really is nice but you get the feeling that it will freeze your nuts off before the winter is over.
I miss the cicadas here. We never hear any. There are plenty of sirens though.
Almost hot enough to boil a monkey's b*m
Beautiful weather down south today.
2.30pm and only 15deg here.
2.30 and about 27 here, light southerly breeze, bloody nice, might go sit on the ride on mower for a bit....
Brisbane and the Gold Coast are at their worst today. I don't know what the temp is but it's hellishly hot and smokey and hazy and when you drive you hope you don't break down because you would have to get out of the air conditioning and ... I could go on ... Brisbane at it's worse. :( :( :(
Low 40's here @ 15.50
I cant understand the weatherzone web site they say its only 31... their on drugs!
Just got home and the outside temperature sensor says its still 36º in the shade (4.30pm Queensland stupid bloody standard time). Could you imagine how hot it would be if we went to daylight savings:rolleyes:
And I hd to pick yesterday and today to replacea side fence:(
Radar says the storm might just get us, fingers crossed for some rain.
Cheers
Michael
just checked the radar, there's two storms around, one to the west of us and one that I reckon will hit Gatton/Ipswich
Sounds like time to sling off at the crummy weather up north.:D
Its been a very nice day down south.
No wonder I was whingeing about the heat here today. 41 degrees.

The pilbera WA is the hottest place ive been , 51 with a thunder storm building and no aircon in 100km , the people who live around Marble bar are as tough as old boots
Was still 33 on the way home from work at 6.30am this morning!!!
:D Bleedin' - I've actually got 3 radars, the eyeball-the-sky, HWMBO's arthritis and the Bureau of Met's radar :D HWMBO's radar works the best:D
Ahhh memories. I used to maintain the WF44 Weather Radar at RAAF Butterworth. Would ask the met officer the forcast and he would look out the window and say what he saw:D :D :D :D
No!!!
Fixed, thanks Felder:o
Well Brisbane got hit by hail yesterday afternoon and today it is windy and a lot cooler than yesterday. Still no rain locally though I believe our local dams may have got some rain....
Supposed to be 32 here with a late change, hopefully some rain here as well, will keep the dust down a bit.
Its still a nice day down south, pleasantly warm.
A great day for painting pressies
This is us over here in the middle bit (sorta)

Apparently it was 40 here in ipswich yesterday and the storm that followed wasn't much with only 3mm of rain here with a small amount of hail. Bring on the rain......
I don't know what everyone is complaining about, Birdsville had 47 yesterday.........
Well it got to 42 here in Murray Bridge today :(
