Picture is too small for my old eyes.
It's the blonde chick from Abba
(The pic is too small, But I'm thinking Lindsay Buckingham)
Whoever he is, he looks like he has seen better days. If the young lady in the background is with him, though, he must still have something.
looks a little like Al:D:D:D
Is it the lead singer of Sweet???
Gary Glitter but with hair?
Perhaps it is a bad photo of Robert Plant?
Pete
I fear that Metal Head's definition of "super group" and mine will prove to be poles apart so I'm heading down the wrong track.
Is he still alive?
Hi Duckman,
I placed super group in "inverted commers" because they are in some people's eyes (critics) a "super group". Yes he is still alive although by the picture he is only just;):D.
Time for another clue given no one has come near to getting it:-
The band has developed a loyal following and another member of the group who's off-stage antics (which has included a few marriages and a heart attack in his mid 20's) have ensured they have never dropped out of the public eye.
Btw, the picture was taken in the past fortnight.
is it John Lydon aka johhny rotten of sex pistols fame?
Robert Plant - Led Zepplin?
That guy from Free who's name escapes me at the mo. Paul Rogers?
Or it could be the lead singer in Spinal Tap. :D
Stevie Wonder??
Mick Jones? the Clash one, not the foriegner Bloke?
Gordon Sumner
Stevie Winwood ?
David Gates
Some nice guesses there but still no success:(.
Well here is clue 3 (and the penultimate one - maybe not  )
As he was 35 years ago with his natural colour hair.
Scratch that. The name I wrote wasn't a lead singer. :(
Michael Jackson?
Brian May?
save the picture to My Pictures in Docs then zoom in.
I didn't realise that ozzie chippies were so bad with modern music:D.
Well here are the last clues - a picture and something us married men say every day;). It was even mention in one of the posts.
Even the village idiot would get it now surely............................
O.K. Jon Andersen from Yes.
So give us a clue,
what sorta woodwork does he do?
Yes oh well..
If it is YES then it is Jon Anderson and they are not and never were that big over here!!!!
Pete
No one is big over here are they:D. They were big in America & Europe and that is what counts in this World. The Skyhooks, Mundo Rock etc were never big anywhere apart from Australia:p.
Jon had big hits around the world with other artists as well, such as Vangellis.
However, well done to CraigB for putting us out of our misery;).
Btw, the other artist mentioned by I was of course Rick Wakeman.
