Today I won the last badge draw at my club for the year.
$3800 - you beauty!
The draw accumulates at $100/week so it was quite a jackpot.
I've never won anything in my life before either.
So whaddya reckon I should do with it?

With a windfall, the best policy is to do nothing for at least 7 sleeps. Remember, ir's much harder accumulating green than blowing green.
Nice win, Craig. Don't rush out and buy a heap of LV and LN tools, put it aside and make a considered decision, taking into account all factors.

I'd go with all those annoying little things that never seem to warrant spending money on them myself.

Your shed has a warm quality atmosphere and it has character. It is the shed equivalent of a home as different from a house. Not many other spaces that size could give you so much pleasure.

One of my more favourable moments in Sydney was in Craig's shed at some early hour with Craig, Wongo, Zed and Silent.
Actually, you're right there Rob. I mean, my new shed is just this great big tin box. No character at all. Granted I've got 97.6 square metres of floorspace, 3 metres high at the walls. Sure, I've got rows of double powerpoints down both sides plus some hanging from the roof. It's got banks of flouros for night and overcast days and clear sheet skylights for the daytime. It has a toilet and a sink and windows. But it has no character.
I'm thinking of setting up a bench under the house for when I want to do handtool work. It will remind me of home :) No, seriously I am.
Mine has character, like the local tip, called the Grotto, Grot Oh better clean it up sometime.
No toilet but I've got a bucket, no sink but water is almost on, birds still come in and crap over everything, but I do have power.
Lights are still on the wish list, but then it is so character building operating a saw in the dark.

I like your shed too mate except that bench looks a bit odd. I'm not sure what's odd about it. Because I'm such an obliging bloke and you are a mate, if you transport it to my shed, I am prepared to test it over a long period of time and send you a free detailed report.:D
