Polyurethane paint info wanted

Hey guys

A few of you have told me about polyurethane painting your own doors before. Well, the kitchen is almost complete, MDF is on its way so it's time to get serious about the coating.

I'm going to give brush painting a try, but where to I purchase polyurethane paint from? Any tips before I dive into it?

I've been taking photos throughout and will post a thread once done.
