Tiling Shower Base

I am looking at tiling the shower floor, and am wondering how difficult it is to do. I have read other posts which seem to indicate it is a big job (I assume because of the sloping of the floor). Is it really that difficult to do?

I have searched on the internet, and not found too much information, and the books I found at the library only seem to discuss general floor and wall tiling.

Does anyone know of any websites, or useful books that I can refer to.
