Brivis Networker Problem

Hi, My brivis networker started to play up last night. The backlight stopped working and although the heater still seems to be working properly, the networker is swithching between heater, evap cooling and blank, then after a few minutes it goes back to heater and seems to work properly, without the backlight. when it is black none of the buttons work and when it says evap I can urn the cooling on, not that I want to on a cold Canberra night.
Any ideas?
